Exporting Calculation Results

Export your calculation results to spreadsheets for easy collaboration, permanent documentation, and detailed analysis. Exported files work across devices and integrate smoothly into your reports and presentations.

To export your results:

1. Solve the model

2. Click the Export button in the main toolbar, then select Save Report. Alternatively, click Download Results in the Results Table

3. Enter a file name when prompted

4. Click Save

5. A confirmation message will appear once the export is complete

Important: You must run a calculation to generate results before exporting. If no results are available, FlowDesigner will display a warning message.

What's In the Export

The Excel file contains comprehensive results organized by component type based on what's in your model:

• Boundaries

• Pipes

• Pumps

• Control valves

• Resistances

• Other components in your model

Each component type appears on a separate sheet within the Excel file.
