Placing Nodes

Basic Component Placement

To place a component in your flowsheet:

1. Select the component from the Element Palette

2. Click anywhere in the flowsheet to place it

The component stays active so you can place multiple copies. Press Escape twice or click the selector tool when finished.

Placing Between Pipes

To add a component between existing pipes:

1. Select the component from the Element Palette

2. Click directly on the pipe where you want to insert it

The pipe will highlight to show where the component will be placed. When inserted, the pipe automatically splits in half (or you can specify the split ratio in settings).
