How to use SmartSelect

SmartSelect in FlowDesigner is a specialized software feature used to select the most appropriate specifications from pipe and equipment manufacturers available in the database.

Except pipes, the selection process in the software is performed on nodes with case modes set to "Design". The software calculated specifications are indexed against data that closely matches available manufacturer specification in the database.

Upon successful calculation of a hydraulic model, SmartSelect performs the selection using a defined criteria to narrow down available options in the database.
