Calculation results are generated by the software in three forms:
Numerical
Descriptive Messages
Graphical
Numerical results can be viewed either using:
Flowsheet Table
Once the table appears in the flowsheet, it becomes a flowsheet element assigned with a key number and can be selected or dragged anywhere in the flowsheet. Also, when selected, the orientation and details shown on the table can be configured through the input panel under the table settings tab.
Results Table
The Results table has three (3) viewable tabs: node, pipe, and notifications. The table can be resized by dragging the border up or down to increase amount of result rows that can be seen.
Moreover, columns for node and pipe tabs can be customized to be hidden/shown. In addition, the order of information can also be modified by dragging the corresponding heading to the preferred location.
The notifications tab of the results table show descriptive results that arises from a calculation. This tab is split between the Status, Warnings and Errors column and Diagnostics.
On the left column describe any input issues, automatic adjustments or convergence problems encountered by the solver in finding a solution.
The right side of the table show engineering hints to guide users on how to further improve their model, analysis or optimize the calculation process.
Calculation results in Flow Designer can also be generated into these charts:
